Adult and Adolescent Psychologist

Michael is an experienced clinician with an array of knowledge from a variety of specialty areas of psychology. Michael has worked with individuals, community groups, government contractors, and multinational organisations to provide psychological problem-solving skills and resilience training.

Michael’s previous work experiences in the mining and construction sector, hospitality management, and specialised sport instruction, give Michael a unique insight and ability to relate to a diverse spectrum of people.

Michael has a passion for supporting people to realise and fulfil their potential and overcome the challenges they face. Michael has a proactive approach  in his psychological service, with a focus on problem solving and goal setting. Michael’s ideology stems from the belief that while we cannot change our past, we can create a new future through adressing present patterns of behaviours and attitudes.

Michael utilises evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, and Integrative Therapy.

  • Available Mondays and Tuesdays for telehealth only.
  • Fee is $200 per 50 minute session.
  • If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, you can claim a rebate of $89.65 per session from Medicare for up to 20 sessions per calendar year.
