Julia Garami

Clinical Psychologist

Julia Garami is a Clinical Psychologist who focuses on creating empathic connection with her clients to help them enact therapeutic change. She works with both adults and young people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, adjustment difficulties and substance abuse.

Julia’s qualifications include a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in the area of addiction psychology. She is experienced in a number of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and hypnosis. Julia tailors therapy for each client using a collaborative and strengths-based approach.

    • Fee is $250 per 50 minute session.
    • If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, you can claim a rebate of $131.65 per session from Medicare for up to 20 sessions per calendar year.
